Lilith Statue

A lovely 7" tall resin statue of Lilith

Lilith, one of my favorite deities to engage with, has been unjustly accused by the religious and political authorities of her time of possessing the traits of the Mesopotamian demoness "Lamashtu."

Why?
Because she was known as a fierce protector of women and children and as the religion of that era shifted towards a more male-dominated structure, those in power transformed her into a demoness, instilling fear in the hearts of many, where she remains today.
